Christmas with Edward

This year when someone what put a little whole in the wrapping paper, Edward would finish opening it all by himself. He really got into it! For Christmas we got him this little train, which as you can see Dan tried to take out of the box for him...They make those things almost impossible to get out!! Anyway, he loved it. Now we've got to get him more attachments for it!

Christmas with Nathan

Nathan really enjoyed Christmas this year! Dan and I got him this Leap Frog table, he kept trying to actually get on it! He really loved the Sesame Street pop outs we got him though. You push the buttons and the characters pop out, and it sings...he thought that was the greatest thing!

Timmy's 4-H Projects

Timmy (my brother) joined 4-H in October. He really enjoys it!! The meetings are once a month, on a monday. He has met all sorts of new people, and really likes his new friends! It's been good for him, something else to keep busy and away from the playstation or computer games ;)

Nates Hospital Trip

The week before Thanksgiving Nathan got diagnosed with a lung infection among a few other problems. They hospitalized him for a week and luckily he came home the day before Thanksgiving. He had to have an IV in for a couple days so he wore a plastic shield over his arm to protect the needle. Anytime he went out of the room he had to wear a little mask. It was sooo cute, we took a bunch of pictures.

Laura and Jeremy's Wedding

My Cousin Jeremy got married October 21st in Warwick, NY. It was absolutely a GORGEOUS wedding!! If you could have seen this cathedral they were married in...it was just breathtaking! The back of it where the service was, was all windows that had a beautiful overlook. Being in October all the leaves were different colors and you could just see for 100's of miles. Definitely one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to.

Nathan's First Birthday!!

Nate's First Birthday Party was a Hit! My sister rented the QWL building and there were about 50 people or so. He was such an entertainer!!

Riley Michele

Our good friends Scott and Stefanie Sitcer had their first baby on October 8th 2006. Their little girl Riley was born at 1:48 am and was 7lbs 4oz. What a cutie!! She looks so much like her Daddy ;)

Melissa and Craig's Wedding

We had quite a few weddings in the past year to attend. This being the last, and also VERY fun!! Melissa and Craig got married September 30th 2006. They were married in the Catholic church in Catskill and had their reception at the Quarry Steak House, just like us (and Liz and Kyle). Dan and Craig are good friends and I've known Craig just about all my life. His sister and my mother use to be inseperable when they were young. So our families know each other well.

It was a sad day for them and many of their family and friends as well....Unfortunately only two weeks before their wedding day Craig's mother, Lu Lu, died. It was a very sad time and so to honor her they had a beautiful table set up with a picture of her and candles on it. They knew she'd be watching that very special day from above! What a wonderful lady she was....

North Carolina '06

We went to North Carolina on vacation in September with friends of ours. It was a BLAST!!! We can't wait to go back. We were there for a week, and rented half a house right on the ocean. It was soooo peaceful!

Liz and Kyle's Wedding

Our Very Good Friends, Liz and Kyle got married July 1st 2006. It was a beautiful day and a VERY fun wedding!!

Our Honeymoon in Mexico

Our Honeymoon was nice although very short! Take my word for it if you're going on a vacation, honeymoon ESPECIALLY, go longer than 5 days (if you're flying)...it seemed like we flew in Monday, and flew out Friday so we had really only 3 days of relaxation. Also, trust me on this...you need more than that after planning a wedding!! Although short, it was really nice. Dan and I really didn't do much but relax on the beach. With only three days we really didn't want to move. So the cabana beds were where we spent most of our days. What a great time though!!

The Beginning of Forever!

Our Wedding Day was Amazing! We got married Saturday May 6, 2006. We were married in the 1st Reformed Church, with services lead by Pastor Paul Peters. The service was very nice and to the point. We were very much about getting married in the Church of God...but not having a very long ceremony. We then went down to the River to take pictures, which came out GREAT! It was a very windy day, so it was definitely chilly down there. After that the limo brought us to the Quarry Steak House, where we partied the night away!! My DJ still says he doesn't think he's ever done a longer wedding then ours. We just had such a blast...who wants to go home when you're having that much fun! All in All...it was the dream wedding for us! And now we've got the rest of our lives together!
