HE IS HERE!

Liam Daniel was born Wednesday December 12th at 4:45pm! He came SO FAST! It was amazing!! I woke up around 3 am with contractions...I initally just thought they were cramps but I quickly realized the difference. I didn't believe I was "in labor". I had had contractions like that before and they turned out to be nothing...so I thought nothing of it really! I went out to the livingroom and sat on my birthing ball for a few hours. Dan woke up to get ready for work and I told him I was having contractions but he should go to work. If it was anything at all....they felt like nothing at that point and were 7 minutes apart, so I figured it could be a while. I had a dr appt scheduled for that day at 1015pm so my plan was to have my sister drive me and I would just go prepared. I cleaned my entire house that morning and got all my laundry done...JUST IN CASE! At this point my contractions were now about 5 minutes apart and I thought...MAYBE this was it! Still wasn't totally convinced yet though! So we got to the dr and I over heard my nurse telling the receptionist that she was missing her dr! Her dr was the on call dr that day...whom I just HAPPENED to want to deliver the baby, if I had the choice ;) Anyways, she called my name and I said to her...so Dr. Kimble is missing?? She said yes...So I said, well this might be a bad time to tell you that I think I may be in labor?! She laughed and said ok, well lets have you see a different dr then and we'll treat it like a regular visit and he can see where you're at! So I did. When the dr came in he asked me how far apart my contractions were...at this point they still weren't hard! So I still wasn't sure what was going on...however, my sister said she had been timing them as I told her I noticed them and they were about 2-3 minutes apart!!! I couldn't believe it...it definitely didn't feel like that?? He checked me and I was 3cm dilated and 100% efaced! I couldn't believe it!! The week before I was only a fingertip and 80% and now I was on my way to having this baby!! He said well Ms Ross I guess we ought to get you a room with a view :) I was SOO excited!! I was actually getting this kid out!! lol! So off we went to the hospital, which was only walking distance! On our way over to the hospital, I called my husband to tell him he might want to go home, eat, shower and head up....we were going to have a baby!! He was soo excited....it was the news we'd been waiting 9 months for!!

I got checked into the hospital and my nurse set me all up. I was suppose to get an IV but she didn't want to hook me up to it quite yet, cause she wasn't sure I was staying?? She asked me and I told her that I thought I was, but I guess I didn't really look like I was even in labor, so she wasn't sure?? She called my dr and they told her I was in fact staying! So I got hooked up and she asked me a bunch of questions. About 1pm my husband got there and around 130pm the resident came in and broke my water! I knew at this point, it was definitely happening! About 2pm my contractions finally got to a point where I had to breath through them. My nurse kept telling me that if I wanted an epidural I had to at least be to 5cm...I told her at that point I was ok...but I was keeping that option VERY open!! ;) She said she wanted to check me just to see so I quick went to the bathroom and when I got back she checked me and I was at 6cm! At this point I started to have some uncomfortable back labor :( I asked her if I could get on my birthing ball (which I brought...SO GLAD I DID!!) The resident kept advising my nurse not to let me out of bed because my blood pressure was showing high!? It was never high...but she kept checking to see if maybe it was low enough so they'd let me out! She eventually decided to call my dr and get permission from him. He said that it was fine, so I was able to sit on it for about 45 minutes! It was GREAT!! It really helped with my back labor and on top of that...I wasn't confined to the bed, which is WHAT I WANTED!! I didn't want to be stuck there! After about 45 minutes of contractions I said to the nurse I really feel like I either need to have a bowel movement or I have to push?? She mentioned it to the resident but she didn't believe that I could possibly be that far a long! So the nure asked her to please check me herself. She came in and checked me around 10 of 4. The resident said well she's 9cm, I guess you better call her dr!! The nurse came around and said well I guess we're going drug free!! She called my dr and started getting the room prepped for delivery!!...It was so weird. These big lights came out of the ceiling and they turned the baby warmer on...it was very surreal still!! Only an hour earlier I was sitting there thinking I wonder if I'll have this baby today or in the middle of the night (tomorrow)?? I started pushing around 4pm. It wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but I did it and about 445pm our little Liam Daniel was FINALLY out of ME! We couldn't be happier to have him! He's perfect in every way! He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 19 inches long! He scored both 9's on his apgar tests! He was pink as pink, a full head of hair...and sooo content, he barely cried after being born!

Being parents is Amazing!! Dan and I are just sooo IN LOVE! I would definitely do it all over again....but I think we'll wait a bit ;) he he!!

39 weeks and still here!

Well we're still here waiting patiently for this little muchkin to decide he/she is ready to come out!? It's not easy or very fun for that matter! The idea that at any moment I could go into labor makes us very anxious! We hope any little ache or pain is the start...but have no idea what to really expect! We just keep hoping it's soon! I've gotten to the point where I have nothing left to clean, bake, or get ready for the baby!? So I really just sit here waiting, and it's BORING!! If only gas wasn't so expensive, or the weather was good...I would drive somewhere to walk!! I can't even do that?! I took a 39wk belly picture...I'm feeling very HUGE and uncomfortable these days! I am up about 7-9 times a night depending on what time we go to bed...but typically it's every hour! Definitely not fun!! At least when I have to get up with the baby, it'll be for a good reason and hopefully when I am sleeping it'll be peacefully!! Well hopefully we'll have some news SOON!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!! Dan and I didn't do all that much this year. We did get out to his parents for dinner and then a quick trip to my Aunt Diane's for dessert! It was nice to hang out with the family. My Grandmother (Lola) even got a pool together of when everyone thought I'd have the baby and what sex it would be! Surprisingly enough, the majority of people said GIRL!! I was surprised! It seemed to me last time I checked most people were guessing boy, but apparently not anymore!! Only two people on the whole list said I'd go after my due date...wasn't that NICE!! :) I'm really hoping to go that first week in December...guess we'll see what happens! I'm attaching two pictures we took yesterday. I meant to ask someone to take a picture of us, but I forgot...so my husband being the thinker of the family, set up the camera to take a picture of us! Every time we get dressed up for a nice occasion or it's a holiday I always forget to get pictures of us together! So I made sure yesterday...thinking this might be the last time we are dressed for a nice occasion, we should definitely get a family picture :) Hopefully for the next holiday...we'll get an ACTUAL family pic, with our little peanut!!

36 week Ultrasound

We had our 36 week ultra sound today! It was amazing how clear you could see our little peanut! Or should I say our almost 6lb peanut!! The tech said the baby weighed 5lbs 12oz! They also said the baby is measuring a little a head and she thought I would only have another 3 weeks to go! Bringing my due date to Dec. 8th!! That would be exciting, guess we will just have to wait and see :) I posted two of the ultra sound pics...they're a little hard to see, but I do believe that the baby has my chin ;) It looks like it anyways!! We'll keep you posted...we're hoping VERY soon now we'll have NEWS :) Can't wait to see what this baby is! It's amazing how much harder it is now than it was at the time of our first ultra sound when they could tell us! Now that we're almost there...it's like OK, we just want to know what you are!! We'll keep you posted :)

34 weeks and counting!!

WOW hard to believe 34 weeks already!! This baby sure is growing now!! According to my calendar he/she is about 4 1/2 lbs and about 17 inches long!! Definitely feel like I'm carrying another human being now ;) I'm officially out of work, suppose to be relaxing...but that doesn't seem to be happening much! I feel like there is sooo much to do before this baby comes! Dan is still trying to get things ready around the house, I think he's really starting to feel the pressure these days! All he does is look at me and he can see how soon it's going to be :) It's all very exciting!! Only 6 weeks to go!!

Surprise!! My Baby Shower :)

WOW!! What a surprise!! So Saturday was my shower! Definitely a surprise. I thought it might be next weekend, but I was wrong. It was a GREAT shower, we got blessed with sooooo much stuff!! He/She will be one lucky baby!! My family did such a GREAT job putting this shower together, everything was truly perfect!! I am hoping to get my hands on some more pictures...but everything is such a blur from that day...it just went soooo fast, I'm not really sure who took pictures!? The first one is of course, the cake! My Aunt Diane...OF COURSE, did a GREAT job with that...as ALWAYS!! It was VERY yummy!! The second is of me and my friend Ali...she's due pretty much any day now with her 5th BOY!! All in all, it was a very exciting day!! Dan and I are very lucky to have such wonderful friends and family!! We couldn't ask for more!! Now....let the setting up begin!!

It's finally here!!

Today's my last day at work!! I couldn't be more excited!! I'm feeling GREAT but at the same time I am soooo tired of sitting here at work doing nothing for 9 hours a day! It's the worst thing EVER!! I will be so much better off at home getting things ready for the little peanut to come!!

We got some VERY exciting new yesterday!! Our very good friends Robbie and Mel are having another baby!!! We couldn't be happier for them! She is due June 15th...which means if our baby is born after December 1st (which is a VERY good possibility ;) He/She will have someone in their class!! That was exciting to hear!! With a lot of our friends children going into school at the same time we kept wondering if anyone would have a baby that would be in our child's class...and NOW there will be!! YAY!!!

So considering I'm so bored here at work...I did manage to take some new belly pics yesterday!! I got a little creative with the last one ;)

I'll keep you posted on how my week goes next week being HOME!! Wow it's going to be weird to be home for the next almost 6 months!!

2 Months to GO!!

These are the pictures I've been taking of the house! The bottom one is the BEFORE picture...it was what the house looked like before we started any construction...then gradually I took others. I still have to get up a recent one, Dan's just about got all the siding up in the front! It looks AWESOME!!

So the house is going really well! Dan's really making progress!! He's been working on it at night and all weekend long!! He's gotten lucky with the weather, it's been pretty nice out!! The siding should be done I would think within the next few weeks! He's got the front new door in, all new windows and now he just has to get the back in and finish up the siding! Our shutters should be in today!So they'll be on soon! It looks AMAZING!! We're soo happy we decided to do it. Hopefully soon we'll be getting new flooring inside too!! The whole house is going to seem so different!!

I found out today that next friday the 12th is going to be my last day!! Time is just flying by...it's so hard to believe we've only got two months left before this little one comes!! It's crazy and becoming more and more real every day!! Hopefully soon we'll be able to start the babies room!! That should keep me busy for a bit ;)

A Day out on the River

Dan and I went out on the River Sunday. What a gorgeous Day! It felt so good to be out on the boat! Last year Dan and I were going to buy a boat but we decided to wait. So this was our first time being able to go out with our friends! Hopefully at some point we'll buy our own so we can go out whenever we want! We LOVE being out on the boat!! We went with friends of ours (Melissa Rob and their son Adam) It was a nice time...I'm attaching pics fromt our afternoon!

Matt and Maegen's Wedding Day

It truly was an amazing day though....they both looked Awesome!! Talk about a GREAT time! We all (yup, even ME) danced all night!! I've never seen them sooo happy!! Now on to many many years of happiness for them!! :)

Ultra Sound 7/26

We had the baby's ultra sound today it was soo neat!! Of course we're not finding out what we're having...but it was soo cool to see the baby move and feel it at the same time! The baby was very active and has a heart beat of 159. He/She is about 12 oz and is measuring to be around 20 weeks and 5 days! We did manage to get some pics but some of them were hard to see the baby's face! I posted the better ones! In the one picture he/she is sticking it's tounge out....Can we tell this baby is going to be like Dan or what?! ;)

Soon we'll be starting to baby's room...I'll make sure to post pictures of that too! We're going with Baby Safari! I'm excited to see how it's going to turn out!! First we're residing our house and putting all new windows and doors on...So it'll be another good month or so before we get to start the baby's room! Hopefully we can have it done before December ;) lol!

HALF WAY THERE!!

Well I definitely popped! The baby is really starting to kick and move all the time now! According to my calendar today...the baby is 9 inches long and weighs 10 ounces! Seems to be getting BIG!! We go Thursday for our BIG ultrasound! Although we're not finding out what the baby is....we're still VERY much looking forward to seeing the baby! We haven't seen him/her since I was 8 weeks! It's been a while...I can't imagine how big the baby will be now! Our doctor's office has 3D and 4D ultrasounds so I'm really looking forward to seeing who the baby looks like...me or dan ;) I swear this baby is a boy! Of course we won't know for another 4 1/2 months...but I feel VERY confident! If the baby is a boy I think we're going to name him Liam Daniel! It's been a hard decision...for some reason a boy name was very hard for us to come up with....If this baby is a boy....let's hope baby #2 is a girl, cause otherwise he might end up without a name! :) Dan still really likes Wyatt Daniel...so we may not make the final decision till the baby is actually born! I think I'd like to look at the baby before making a definite decision...maybe he'll look like more of a Wyatt than a Liam. Guess we'll see!!
Time is FLYING by!! Dan and I have a VERY busy summer...and even Fall! So we're hoping December comes QUICK! We just can't wait to have the baby!!

I see you!

Well things are really starting to form now! I felt the baby for the first time last week! It was very exciting! Of course I haven't felt much since then....but I'm assuming anytime now I'll be feeling a lot and wishing I couldn't ;) This week I'll be 18 weeks! Man time flies! I can't believe I'm almost half way done already?! We've got our BIG ultrasound on the 26th of July...it can't come fast enough! I can't wait to see how big the baby is! Some nights I wake up and my stomach hurts SO bad, so I can tell that he/she is growing good!! According to my calendar she/he should be about 5 ounces...so we'll see what we're at in three weeks!

Dan and I FINALLY decided on names! If it's a girl it's going to be Addison Marion (Marion after Tim's Mom)! If it's a boy we're going to name him Liam Daniel! I like them a lot....now we've just got to wait another 22 weeks!!?? I'm so impatient...I hope it comes quick!

Disney World 2007

On May 12th our family took a trip to Disney World in Florida! It was Nate's first trip and sooo much fun!! While we were there we got to meet up with Beau, Lenette, Olivia and Taryn...as well as Rachael and Ney! We had a GREAT time together!! Nathan and the girls had a blast together! They were sooo cute! It's a Boy!

There's a new baby boy in the neighborhood!! Brayden Robert Conrad was born Tuesday May 8th after making his parents Liz and Kyle wait 1 week longer than his expected arrival ;) Little booger! What a cutie though! He was born at 6:21 am at 8lbs 7 oz! He looks a lot like his Dad, just with more hair ;) he he! His mom was such a trooper while in labor for 26.5 hours to FINALLY deliver him! Although being tired the whole family is doing VERY well and welcomed their new baby boy home on Thursday May 10th! Here are some pictures we've gotten of the little guy! Congratulations Conrad Family!! You've got a beautiful baby boy!!

Our First Anniversary

Today is our First Anniversary....I can't believe how quick it went by! Dan was so sweet, he brought me a bagel with cream cheese this morning (I've been craving them bad ;) I got my first card from him today, that took FIVE YEARS! ;) However, it was worth the wait.... I Loved IT!! Then he took me to get flowers for the house. He said he was going to buy me a vase of flowers but he wanted them to last longer than a week....so we bought flowers for all over outside! I LOVE THEM!! By the time we got home we were hungry so we went and had a small lunch and by the time we got back I was BEAT! So I laid down for 2 HOURS, ;) funny how I can sleep that long these days, while Dan planted all my flowers! He's such a GREAT HUSBAND :) For dinner we're going to the Quarry Steak House.... Where we had our wedding reception. We still can't believe it's been a year already!! Man time flies when you're having fun!! :) This time next year....we probably won't be doing all this, considering we'll have an infant! How much more exciting is that!! :)

Baby's First Picture :)

We had our first ultra sound on Tuesday! It was amazing!! We got to see the baby and hear it's heart beat! It was a great feeling to actually see what was making me feel so crappy ;) It made me feel a lot better anyway! The babies heart rate is 143bpm...which some people say is a girl...but I've still got those who say it's a boy!? So we'll be guessing for a while! We're planning to wait to find out, so it's going to be a long 7 months of guessing :) It's fun though! We couldn't believe the detail of this ultrasound! It was amazing you could see this much so early! The doctor said the baby is doing great and looks very healthy! They scheduled me for another ultra sound next month and I'll be 16 weeks by then....so I bet we'll see a lot bigger of a baby by then!! We're very excited!!
When we got the ultra sound done, the lady doing the ultra sound put all the pictures onto a cd for us, so we could easily email them. Dan was sooo excited to show everyone, he took the cd to Rite Aid and got 22 copies!! It was cute ;) He walks around telling everyone this is his baby ;) It's just soo exciting for both of us!
I'm feeling much better, but it definitely comes and goes! Just when I think it's over, I feel yucky again! So I try to be quiet saying I feel good?! You never know when it'll be back! I've never known tired till now! WOW!! I could easily fall asleep sitting up, I'm just BEAT! With working at Peckham, doing Pampered Chef and trying to finish up school along with every day life....I can't sleep ENOUGH! I never have energy...and I just can't wait for the next trimester to get some back!!

DECEMBER HERE WE COME!!

Dan and I found out a few weeks ago that we're....PREGNANT!! It's so hard to believe still....but ready or not, the baby will be here December 13th!! We're VERY excited and hoping to get our new house going VERY soon!! We'd really like to be in and ready when the baby comes.

We told our parents this past week and it was so funny! I bought these t-shirts for our nephews that said "I'm going to be a BIG COUSIN"...now do you think our parents go it right away...NOPE!? I think they had to read it a few times to get it ;) It was all very surprising to them!! he he!

I have to say the BEST was telling Dan. A few months ago when Dan and I went to get our taxes done...Dan was asking out tax lady what we could do to get more money back. She told him the one thing would be to have a baby...so of course he was like okay but what about now. Keeping that idea in my mind, I found a onesie that said "Dad's Little Tax Deduction" with a man jumping up and down on it! It was sooo cute, but they only had it in 6 mos. So I figured ah what the heck, I'll get it for when the time came. When I found out, I kept it from him all day while I was working. It was SO HARD!! I had a bunch of things to do after work too...so I couldn't wait to get home! I picked up Chinese on my way home and it was about 530 or so when I got home. I went into the bathroom to take a digital, just so he'd understand what I was showing him ;) I figured the lines might be too complicating!? lol! So I brought out the onesie and I said..."Oh Look I forgot to show you what I got" then I said "They only had it in 6 mos but I figure by April it should fit perfectly considering the baby is due in December" He said "Oh it's cute, who's baby is that for?" he he...That's when I pulled out the test and told him, It's OURS!! We're PREGNANT! He was soo shocked! I don't think he believed me at first! It was such a Great Moment for Us!!

Big Boys!

The boys are getting sooo big!! Edward is learning all sorts of sign language. The one he seems to do a lot is MORE!! Kristi (my sister in law) has read that learning sign language at this age helps them communicate earlier and also helps with learning to talk! Edward has a lot to say, of course it's only in his and Nathan's language ;) Soon he'll be saying all sorts of things...Can't wait to see what he comes up with then!!

Nate's talking so much too!! I was over at my Mom's the other day and saw him do the cutest thing. When he sits on his toy car, before he goes anywhere....He starts the enginge ;) I couldn't believe it!! It was sooo cute!! He will actually go vroom vroom.

Time flies with these two!! Before we know it we'll be celebrating their second birthdays!! It's CRAZY!!

My FIRST Pampered Chef Party!!

Friday February 16th was my FIRST Pampered Chef party at my friend Melissa's House! I was soo excited about it, and it went really well! I also have pictures of my second party which was Sunday February 18th for my cousin LeAnne. Both were a GREAT Success!!

Nathan is getting so big!! These pictures were taken Sunday at my Aunt and Uncle's House. My Aunt was having fun keeping up with him. He's a hand full these days, getting into EVERYTHING!!

Nate's FIRST Haircut!

Saturday Nate got his first hair cut. He was really good! He didn't like the apron much, so they just left it off. After his apointment Kristin and I kept saying "Nate you look so handsome, Did you get your hair cut?" and he'd point to his hair. It was so cute!!

The BEST Vacation Ever...Jamaica '05

Can't forget to post this....

Our VERY good friends Scott and Stefanie decided to get married August 24 2005 at the New Sandals White House in Jamaica. It was truly the BEST VACATION EVER!!! There was 34 people that all ended up going for Stef and Scott's wedding! That was really cool, every where you went you had friends! We spent most of our days at the swim up bar, always making sure we were there when it opened, it was our vacation we had to! Our room was AWESOME! All the rooms had ocean view and ours was on the ground floor which made it really easy to walk out the back door and be right on the beach. The food was Amazing!! You could order as much as you wanted and whatever you wanted (including lobster and fillet Mignon) and it was included in our price! There was a bakery right in the main square that had ice cream, cookies and any pastry you could think of and at any time you could walk right in and eat whatever you wanted for FREE! At night we went to a night club which was a lot of fun, especially watching karaoke! On Wednesday August 24th our friends Stefanie and Scott got married right there on the beach. It had to be the most romantic wedding I've ever seen. VERY HOT, but VERY BEAUTIFUL!! Definitely have to go back someday!! We'll NEVER forget this trip, I don't think any of us will!

Edward

My nephew Edward was born in November of 2005. It seems that Edward and my nephew Nathan are pretty much on the same track. So usually when one's doing it the other is doing it or right behind him. They're a lot of fun!! Edward is usually a very calm baby, always happy. He loves to wave goodbye and throw balls! I swear one day he'll be a baseball player.
