Christmas Tree Picking!!

We went Sunday to get our Christmas tree...it was FREEZING!! Poor Liam had tears coming down his eyes it was soo cold! We went as quick as we could...I don't think we got the best tree, but we'll make it work, that's for sure!! We rearranged the livingroom last night, I actually like it better now! lol. Tonight I'm hoping to start decorating it....but we'll see!? Here are some of the pictures I took when we went for our tree!

My BABY is 2!!!

I still can't get over that my baby is 2!?!? It just goes sooo fast! We had a small party....just parents, grandparents, siblings and Liam's friends! It was a lot of fun! Here are the pictures we took of that day!

Liam's birthday invitation

Friday night I put balloons in Liam's room so that when he woke up Saturday morning on his birthday he'd see them! I got a bunch of colored ones and also a Thomas the Train one too! He LOVED that one!!! It's still in the air!! lol

SOOO excited to get his birthday present...his NEW JEEP!!!!

He couldn't believe that when he put his foot on the pedel it went fast! lol. The reaction on his face was absolutely PRICELESS!! Can you see it??!!

I attempted a train cake...and we also make cupcakes too for the kids! Everything turned out well...although there were definitely times in the baking process I heard my Mom say, you know it's okay if you just go buy one! lol. I finished it though!!

He stood right up and blew out his candles...of course I missed that picture! He loved it though!!!

He's FINALLY HERE!!!!!

My nephew is FINALLY here!!! Chuck, Kristin and Nathan welcomed their new addition Cameron Joseph VanAlphen Wednesday October 14th!! He was born via c-section at 830am weighing 7lbs 15oz and 20 inches long! He is just PERFECT!! OMG he has such a head of hair! Liam is for sure jealous!! lol Everyone says he looks just like his BIG BROTHER Nathan!! Here are some pictures we have of the peanut....

Cameron is doing GREAT....nursing like a CHAMP! When he came home from the hospital he went down to 7lbs but is gaining already! At his last doctor appointment he was already up 4oz!! So things are going really well! Mom, Dad and Big Brother are settling in and really enjoying the little guy! There will definitely be more pictures to come!! Nathan LOVES taking them! LOTS of them!! lol.

WELCOME Henry!!!!

On Monday my Brother in Law and Sister In Law welcomed their 3rd little boy to the world!!! They named him Henry Lowell Ross (Lowell after his Grandpa LaFountain). He was born at 8:26am via c-section and was 8lbs 2 oz! Congratulations to them all!! Another little boy!! :) Should be fun at Christmas this year!! lol. Here are some pics I have of the little guy!

Apple Picking

A whole group of us went Apple and Pumpking Picking last weekend. We had such a GREAT time!! My sister and Chuck came with Nate...it was really Nate's idea!! He wanted to go sooooo bad!! With his birthday being the next day we HAD to do it for him!! We had a BLAST! My friend Manda came with her two girls Gabby and Izzie. Meagan came, Liz came with Brayden and Avery, of course me and Liam...and my Grandma! Here are the pics.....

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Martin

Our good friend Abbey just got married Friday September 25th. Kristin was actually a bridesmaid in her wedding! We were almost wondering if she'd make it with all her false labor!! She did though and looked absolutely beautiful! Of course as did the BRIDE!!! I didn't get many good pics...I could really use a GOOD camera! Here's what I got though!

The wedding was down at the gazebo in Coxsackie, it thankfully turned out to be a nice day..cool, but sunny!! Liam came to the wedding but not the reception! He just ran around, so that worked out! lol.

Nathan was the ring bearer....he and the flower girl were SOOO cute together! They did a GREAT job!!

Kristin's Baby Sprinkle

Kristin's Baby Sprinkle was a SUCCESSFUL SURPRISE!!! It went off with out a clue to my sister! As she showed up an hour late!! lol. We definitely knew when my brother in law, Chuck called at the time she was suppose to be there and said...."she just got out of the shower!" Yup she had NO CLUE!!! It was GREAT!!

Kristin got an abundance of gifts for the baby! We're sooo lucky to have such amazing family and friends!! It was sooo much fun watching her open all the baby clothes and blankets etc. It just makes it soo much more real! I just can't believe this baby is going to be here any day now! It's soo exciting!! I can't WAIT to get that phone call....although I have gotten it twice already!? lol So far still no baby.....

SURPRISE!!!!!!

The favors I found online...Bavarian White Chocolate Covered Rice Krispie Treats!! They had a picture of the baby's ultrasound on it and also said
"Welcome Baby VanAlphen Sprinkle Date 9-27-09" They were a HUGE hit especially because Kristin's FAVORITE food is Rice Krispie Treats...obviously the reason I got them! ;)

OBVIOUSLY My Aunt Diane made Kristin's cake!! It was DELICIOUS...OF COURSE!!!

I found a picture of this online and of course just had to have it for my sisters Baby Sprinkle...I thought it was absolutely adorable! Well when we got to planning...I had NO time to do it...so my cousin Justin took over and he did an AMAZING job!! It was quite the master piece!!
